We are the firm engineers call when a binder of test results is not enough.
ClarkTE was built around one belief: an electrical test is only useful if it changes a decision. Everything we do works back from that.
Why we exist
Most facilities do not have a reliability problem. They have a data problem. Tests get run, results get filed, and nobody connects them to the decisions that actually matter: when to rebuild, when to replace, when to defer, when to escalate.
We started ClarkTE because we kept watching equipment fail with three years of warning signs sitting in a binder somewhere. Our entire model is designed to make sure that never happens to a ClarkTE client.
How we work
One team, full lifecycle
The same firm that commissions your switchgear is the firm that models your protection scheme, runs your maintenance testing, and trains your staff. Data does not get re-keyed between vendors. Context does not get lost between contracts.
Licensed and certified
Every field crew is led by a technician who has been certified to industry standards. Every study is signed by a licensed Professional Engineer. Every training program is built by a practicing power engineer who tests equipment for a living.
Predictable, on purpose
We publish our methods of procedure before we mobilize. We commit to draft-report SLAs in writing. We run change orders by you in plain English before they hit your invoice. None of this should be remarkable. In our industry, it is.
Who we serve
Reliability leaders, plant electrical engineers, facility managers, and risk officers at organizations where electrical infrastructure is mission-critical. If a single bus trip is measured in seven figures or in lives, you are the kind of client we are built to support.
Our team
Professional Engineers (PE) licensed across multiple states. Senior technicians certified to industry standards. Former utility protection engineers, former industrial reliability managers, former OEM field service leads. Combined, our team brings more than a century of substation, generation, and industrial power experience.
What we will not do
- We will not run a test that does not lead to a decision.
- We will not sell a study that nobody on your team will read.
- We will not commit to a schedule we cannot keep.
- We will tell you when the right answer is to use a different vendor, or to do nothing at all.
