Comprehensive electrical safety training and engineering services to protect your personnel and power systems.
Electrical safety training and engineering, under one roof
ClarkTE pairs NFPA 70E electrical safety training with arc flash studies, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies — so the program your workforce learns matches the engineering on your one-line drawings, not someone else's textbook.
NFPA 70E and the National Electric Safety Code, in plain English
NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) is the U.S. consensus standard that defines how to work on or near energized equipment without getting hurt. It is the standard OSHA cites in enforcement actions, and it is the standard your insurer expects you to follow. The National Electric Safety Code (NESC, ANSI C2) is its companion for utility-side work — overhead and underground transmission, distribution, and substation grounding.
A real electrical safety program does four things: it identifies the shock and arc-flash hazards on every piece of equipment (the engineering side), it equips workers with the right PPE for the incident energy at that location (the gear side), it teaches workers procedures for energized work, lockout-tagout, and approach boundaries (the training side), and it audits the result every year (the management side). ClarkTE delivers all four under one PE stamp.
